Many thanks to Claire Louise for taking part in the 2nd photo shoot for Lovechild Boudoir who supplied  the clothing once again for this shoot. Lovechild Boudoir is based in Leeds and her designs have been sold in shops such as Top Shop and Urban Outfitters.

Using a few select pieces from the previous shoot, I wanted to add a different aspect to the clothing by using a different model and location. This time going for a more natural, brighter backdrop for the shoot. I made the most of the natural lighting streaming through the windows and added a vintage layer through Photoshop to the images to suit the style. I'm really happy with the finished results.

I have been thinking about trying another Steam Punk/Burlesque shoot as I really enjoyed the one I did with Evie Wolfe last year. I was lucky enough to be supplied with clothing by designer Lovechild Boudoir, based in Leeds who's designs have been sold in shops such as Top Shop and Urban Outfitters.

I teamed up with local Burlesque model Snow Wilde and my local theatre, Tom Thumb. We has some stunning outfits to work with : A vintage bridal maxi dress, bustles, lace and satin neck cuffs, some beautiful satin corsets and various other burlesque accessories. 

I managed to fully utilise the theatres great range of back drops, wallpapers and the stage area for this shoot, which lasted around 3 hours. Being from a Burlesque background, Snow worked really well to get the vintage images I was after, ideal for both Love Child's website and my own portfolio.

School - St Crispin's Infant School
Location -  Westgate-on-Sea, Kent
Company - The School Print Company

 I have been working with The School Print Company on a shoot for St Crispin's School in Westgate-on-Sea to provide a selection of images for their new prospectus.

 I arrived at the school for 9.15am and was greeted by the Head Mistress, Mrs Denise Ellinor. I was required to get a mixture of shots over 3-4 hours of the school buildings, the teachers but mainly the children going about their day to day lives at the school. 
During the course of the morning, I got to meet all the teachers and students whilst visiting each classroom and photographing them in action. From reading and writing, to painting, computing and P.E classes.
I also was lucky enough to photograph lunch hour, both indoors in the canteen area and outside with the children playing in the playground and on the equipment.
The students at the school were aged between 4-7 and were extremely happy and excited children. They loved to have their photo taken and were sometimes following me around just to jump out in-front of the camera but I think this helped me to get some really great, natural shots of the children as well as the usual ones of them working and studying.

Many thanks for St Crispin's and their staff and students for making me feel so welcome and i'm looking forward to working alongside The School Print Company again soon on another school project.

Below you will find my latest that I did out on location in Margate with Karl Schilg.
It was not one of the warmest of days for doing a location shoot, but Karl worked hard throughout it all, which in turn produced some great images.
We also had a chance of doing some Vintage style shots in Margate train station, which I have given the images a sepia and old effect to.
We also come up with an idea of a "Singing in the rain" image, after some Photoshop work you can see below.

Woke up this morning to it snowing, and setting quite deep, so could not turn down the opportunity of popping off into town with my missis to get some HD images in the snow.
