There isn't much you can do about the weather in November on your wedding day, but even if its rainy and misty out over the sea, we still have lots of fun photographing our couples portrait shots even if it means we get a bit wet! Matt & Georgie didn't care about the weather, these guys were ridiculously happy and enjoying every moment of their wedding at the beautiful Easy Quay in Whitstable.
Their family and friends were all so lovely and made me feel like one of them! We also got creative with their son Josh's favourite dinosaur who not only made a special appearance at the wedding but also got involved in some of the ring photos!

Paul & Katie's wedding was an autumn wedding but you would never know it wasn't the height of the summer with the sunshine and warm weather! Katie had opted out of any shots of her getting ready, some brides prefer a bit of chill time with their bridesmaids/family before the ceremony, so I had more time at the venue to get some detailed shots before everyone arrived.
I always tend to go a bit mad at East Quay with the room and detail shots as it always looks awesome here, even if simply decorated and the natural colours Paul & Katie had chosen with the subtle colour hints of lavender really looked beautiful! Another wedding at the beautiful East Quay in Whitstable and we had really been looking forward to this one since David & Sammy booked us. These guys are just such a laugh and so cool! David is a very talented, local artist and we knew this was going to be a fun wedding with loads of opportunities for quirky photos. The guests were also all pretty awesome and up for a laugh! We could have stayed with these guys all night long and just kept shooting and we are very much looking forward to catching up with them both soon for a few beers.
The first of our East Quay weddings of this year and what a beautiful day for a wedding! This venue is perfectly located, right on the beach in our home town of Whitstable. This place is winning awards and being featured everywhere right now so its exciting to be photographing here with such a fab couple.
Lloyd & Jo incorporated so many awesome ideas into their ceremony and reception. We loved the mixing of coloured sands during their ceremony to signify the family joining together, so lovely! The venue was decorated beautifully too and we got to have lots of fun with their portrait shots due to the cool industrial beach front location plus they both wanted loads of photos! These guys are so in love and it showed in their photos for sure. |
