It was a hot, sunny day in June and we were on our way back over to Thanet, to photograph the Military wedding of Chris & Heather at Quex Park in Birchington.
Quex Park is within 250 acres of parkland and gardens and also has the onsite Powell-Cotton Museum within Quex House too. Plus the wedding was set outside in the Victorian gazebo in the gardens.
We were starting the day at Evolve in Broadstairs, then on to Quex where Heather was getting ready. Its always handy having 2 photographers as when the wedding preparation venues are fairly close together, we can cover both Bride & Groom! And it was even better that Quex’s dressing room is awesomely named Robert’s Room haha
It was a lovely summers day for a wedding, the ceremony went without a hitch. Plenty of happy tears, lots of Pimm’s drank by the guests and lots of lovely areas for photographs. A beautiful venue, especially for outdoor weddings.
The style was very rustic, with lots of hessian and lace and hints of vintage throughout. A style everyone knows that we love!
