DARYL & BEKKI DANSON HOUSE & THE KING CHARLES HOTEL BEXLEYHEATH & GILLINGHAM
Occasionally ceremonies and receptions happen on different days. Usually its a wedding abroad, followed by a reception back home but Daryl and Bekki decided to split their wedding into two dates. They were to be married on the Monday at Danson House in Bexley, a beautiful Georgian mansion, that Bekki always loved as a child and the reception was to be held on the Saturday at The King Charles Hotel.
Now what was completely different to any other wedding was that Daryl didn't know anything about the wedding plans until Bekki surprised him on Valentines Day to coincide the wedding with his 50th birthday later that year. This was going to be a special day for them both, especially with them having been friends for many years too!
We were photographing the ceremony, followed by photos in the surrounding gardens. The wedding was made even more special by Bekki's parents surprising her with the hire of a 1963 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow supplied by Finesse Wedding Cars. Everyone eventually headed on to a small garden party being held at Bekki's parents nearby while we spent some time with them both, taking a few portrait shots, before they too hedged off.
On the Saturday night, it was lovely to see them both again, both in their wedding attire, but complete with trainers for Bekki so she could dance all night long. They are both so much fun, we were asked to stay for a while longer, not working but as guests so we could enjoy the party and I think there is even a video filmed by a slightly tipsy Daryl of us both dancing later that night haha!
