Todays wedding was all about Vintage Glamour and we had Mark & Stacey booked with us for a while. This was our first wedding at the amazing Chilston Park Hotel, a Grade 1 listed Manor House in Lenham. With a 9am start, we managed to get some fab photos of Stacey and the girls getting ready. There were plenty of accessories to photograph, Stacey is definitely one for beautiful details so it was a wedding that we knew that we were going to enjoy photographing! And this continued throughout the whole day!
The day flowed beautifully. A lovely ceremony in The Orangery followed by a Vintage Ice Cream Bike, Parry's Ice Cream, serving up ice-creams to the guests and canopies and drinks served in the pretty gardens by the hotel staff. We managed to take advantage of Mark & Stacey's fab, bright colour scheme of blue and pink with some colourful shots of them both alone and a few of their bridal party. They also had a beautiful cake supplied by Sonja at The Whitstable Cake Company. The reception room was decorated with chandeliers, pearls and lace. It looked lovely!
By 7pm the DJ, Ian Gladwell at Celebration Sounds, had set up and the music was on. The first dance was to start at 7:30pm but of course with the sun shining and the bar open, who wants to be stuck indoors so things were a little delayed but no one really seemed to mind. Everyone was just having such a great time!
Everyone eventually headed in for the wedding breakfast, the speeches were first which I think always seems to work best, as once its over, the Groom especially, can relax! At this point we headed back to the Garden Room for some sandwiches and once they were ready for some photos with the cake, we popped back in before they moved back into the Garden Room & Piano Room for coffee. Stacy even gave us a little tune on the piano lol.
