A trip to Salmestone Grange was the plan for Stuart and Terri's wedding, a venue that is so unusual, a true medieval gem and yet I have photographed different styles of wedding here already with more to come! The venue is so hidden away yet its one of those places that you drive past all the time in Margate. Down a small gravel driveway, sits the grange and the beautiful 14th century chapel, the location for todays' ceremony.
Terri was to be getting ready at the Grange as they have bridal rooms in the grounds, after a trip to the hairdressers first of course! They had booked the Guinevere Suite so Terri and her daughter Ellie could get ready together and be joined by the bridesmaids later on, whilst the guys got themselves ready at home.
Having the ceremony and reception all in one location definitely makes it easier to spend more time with the couple taking those natural photos we love to get! There were plenty moments to take them both off for some time alone together and use the great facilities that Salmestone Grange gardens has to offer! A venue that I look forward to visiting again soon in a few months!
